The vision of SRHR-Rwanda Coalition: A Rwanda where every individual enjoys comprehensive sexual reproductive health and rights, fostering a society that values equity, dignity, diversity & inclusion and well-being for all.
The Mission of SRHR-Rwanda Coalition: The mission of SRHR-Rwanda Coalition is to advance and promote sexual reproductive health and rights for all individuals in Rwanda.
The Objectives of SRHR-Rwanda Coalition:
- Information sharing: Strengthen information sharing within Coalition members and other relevant stakeholders. Information sharing shall focus on who is doing what and when in the domain of SRHR, what are the new policies and what are the challenges to policy implementation. Sharing information will also contribute to reducing the risk of duplication of activities amongst Coalition members.
- Capacity building: Strengthen the capacity of Coalition members working in the field of SRHR including; Promoting and protecting smaller organizations and individual voices in the membership.
- Synergy and Collaboration: Strengthen synergy and collaboration among CSOs, and other partners working in the field of SRHR.
- Collective advocacy action: Coordinate SRHR CSOs and individual SRHR activists to effectively advocate and contribute to laws and policies related to SRHR.
In pursuing the vision, mission and objectives of the Coalition, members must share a similar vision about SRHR and their organizations’ vision and mission statements should be sufficiently compatible to allow them to collaborate. Members shall therefore aim, amongst other things, to connect local issues to regional and global discussions and amplify local voices to a global audience.
